Abstract

The story "Opus 123" by the Mexican writer Inés Arredondo is analyzed following part of the methodology of the Russian semiologist Iuri Lotman. The text addresses, according to the categories of Lotman, the sexual dissidence and the two main male characters of the story; besides the transgenerational memory in the actants of the text.
