Semillas para un himno: A Brief Study Of The Teluric Surrealismand The Presence Of Pre-Hispanic Myth
Keywords:
Prehispanic myth, Teluric surrealism, Octavio PazAbstract
The objective of this article is an analysis of the links between teluric surrealism and prehispanic
myth in the thought and poetry of Octavio Paz. To do this, the work is divided into two moments; the
first, in making a brief description between the myth and paciano's thought, to later, in a second moment, unite it with telluric surrealism and its implications. In this way, it seeks to demonstrate
that the prehispanic myth in the work of Octavio Paz is manifested through the symbolism of nature,
but under the aesthetic logic of the concept of teluric surrealism for the construction of a poetry that
approaches the sacred.
