Alterophobia: fear of others as a condition that makes the generation of bioethics impossible.
Keywords:

This manuscript addresses the issue of alterophobia, i.e., fear, contempt or distrust of others as the great impediment for bioethics, understood as a creative dialogue, to become a factor for the creation and proposal of probable solutions to the problems between life sciences and moral values. Bioethical dialogue, which begins at least between two people, must be intelligent, creative, fertile, and innovative, but it cannot exist if alterophobia prevails at the base of human relations.
