Humor and carnival in children's literature
Keywords:
Literature, Children, Humor, CarnivalAbstract
An overview of humor resources in children's literature is presented from a review of the main concepts surrounding humor such as laughter, irony, parody and satire and some examples in classic and current children's literature.
The purpose of this article is to show, and at the same time, highlight the resources and literary wealth present in children's literature, which is often labeled as simple and of low quality so that little by little the literature for children and young people is placed in the same academic spaces and methodological rigor as literature in general.
