Discursive recreation of history, between artifice and art in Muerte súbita (2013) by Álvaro Enrigue

This article presents an analysis of the narrative structure of Muerte Súbita (2013) by Álvaro Enrigue based on the concept of incipit (1984) by María Amoretti also some concepts about paratextual structure of Gerard Genette on his book Umbrales (2001). Furthermore, this paper offers a lecture based on the global semantic of the novel presented by the incipit. This a work of academic critic, which works based on the literary analysis and its extratextual implications resulted from the represented discourses in the novel.
