Abstract

The article addresses the study of mobile smart telephony, placing it within the growing integration of digital services. It analyzes its typology, limits and scope, positive and negative aspects, delving into the risks and consequences of constituting a system that generates users' personal data, which is stored on the device and on computing platforms (the so-called clouds). This information can be interpreted through personal data mining (field of advanced knowledge in specific data extraction, processing and interpretation techniques). It constitutes an informative medium that has been wasted in many cases to improve health, human interaction and user learning. And, on the contrary, it has been used by various corporations to provide industrial espionage services, commercial surveillance, political or ideological surveillance, or to manipulate behavior and maintain control over the consumption of specific segments of the population.
