Abstract

The objective of this article is to explore the concept of border and its relationship with the northern part of Mexico and the southern part of the United States of America, for this purpose we sought to explore the concept of line, border, and limit, in order to understand a deeper and more complex meaning of what this border strip implies. On the other hand, the concept of geosymbolization is also explored with the objective of identifying which are those spaces within the border strip that mold and endow with a semanticity that constructs part of the imaginary of being an individual that inhabits the border.
