Abstract

The figure of great women who accompany their famous husbands on their life journey offers different nuances. Many examples abound in literature and art, but the work focuses on the love story between the poet César Vallejo and the poetess Georgette Philippart as the main reason, since their love remained firm despite the vicissitudes through which they had What happened throughout their relationship in Paris, including the death of the poet, leaving a young widow who disseminated her husband's work, becoming his promoter and defender of the great creative legacy of the vate universa. As an analogy of this particular story, another couple that had a similar story is discussed, formed by Janet Reisenfield, also a foreigner, a writer of film scripts in Mexico, and her partner, the award-winning filmmaker Luis Alcoriza, of Spanish origin but a Mexican national. Their love story is also an example of love, support and perseverance like that of the unforgettable Vallejo. In particular, the role of these great women who possibly met during their stays in Spain stands out.
