Exoterikoí Lógoi in Aristotle. Dialectical approaches in the Fragmenta.
Keywords:
Exoteric texts, Dialectic, First Aristotle, ArgumentationAbstract
This study shows in the foreground the dialectical presence of the work of the first Aristotle preserved in the Fragmenta. Considering all the passages cross-sectionally from the point of view of argumentation, this total reading of the exoteric texts represents a significant sample of its dialectical dimension in Aristotle's philosophy from an early stage. With this, a certain relationship is verified between the dialogues linked together by the common denominator of dialectic, despite the variety of their themes and their fragmentary state, to the point of giving us a fairly precise idea of their original framework forever lost. The hermeneutic line that this research presents is an application of the argumentation theory within current Aristotelianism, and makes us understand the first methodological step for Topica.
