Art work, especially literary Art work, emerges from a particular historical context and situation, whose imprint is evident in the reading and rereading that can be made from it. However, with new historical and temporal scenarios and new means of artistic expression, such work must be reinterpreted and translated under the premise of preserving as closely as possible to the original. This transmediality is not exempt from mistakes and involves a complex transfer which derives from the conceptual to delve into the semantic, structural and formal universes that are specific to each language that seeks to adjust. Given this situation, we may note that literary work acquires new meanings and stories when mutating into theatrical, dancing, musical and even cinematographic expressions. This paper seeks to explain the complexity of medial transfer which said translation involves, through the evolutionary track of possible evolutionary written records in the eighteenth century, of a theatrical script, an orchestra piece and a nineteenth century choreographic Ballet: The Swan Lake (1877) - and a film of twenty first century, The Black Swan (2010)-.Downloads
