Abstract

As part of the process of innovation in teaching practice, the use of information and communication technology in educational processes is becoming increasingly common. One of the most widely used digital resources, at least in the field of exact or natural sciences, is virtual laboratories, mainly because of the flexibility of their use and access.
     Virtual laboratories are an innovative educational technology that has transformed the way teaching and learning is done in various fields of study. These tools provide virtual environments that simulate laboratory experiments and practices, enabling students to acquire skills and knowledge in an interactive and secure manner. However, despite the versatility that virtual laboratories present, there are challenges that students and teachers face.
