This paper is part of a broader investigation that aims to build a proposal for the interpretation of the concepts of coexistence, conflict and violence as transdisciplinary concepts. With this purpose in mind, this work was proposed as a reflection exercise about the possible contributions that could be derived from Basarab Nicolescu's thought to advance towards the mentioned objective, in particular, in regard to his proposal for a transdisciplinary methodology. This methodology is based on the formulation of three axioms: the ontological, the logical, and the epistemological. Throughout of this paper, each of these axioms is addressed in order to answer the following question: What characteristics could a proposal for the interpretation of coexistence, conflict and violence have as transdisciplinary concepts, according to this perspective? It concludes by proposing a tentative answer to this question, as well as identifying some limitations and recommendations for future work.
