Objetives
General Objective
To contribute to the generation, dissemination, preservation and discussion of scholarly and humanistic knowledge through the publication of original and unpublished research, analytical and reflective works in the fields of Philosophy, Literature, Humanities and related disciplines, fostering academic exchange, critical thinking and open access to knowledge at both national and international levels.
Specific Objectives
- To publish high-quality original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of Philosophy, Literary Studies, Linguistics, Cultural Theory and Criticism, History of Ideas, Aesthetics, Hermeneutics and other disciplines related to the Humanities.
- To encourage interdisciplinary dialogue among different schools of thought, theoretical approaches and methodological perspectives that enrich the understanding of contemporary cultural, social, philosophical and literary phenomena.
- To promote national and international academic exchange by facilitating the participation of researchers, lecturers and specialists from universities, research centres and academic organisations around the world.
- To foster the free and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge through an open-access publishing model that enables the circulation, consultation and use of published content by the academic community and society at large.
- To ensure the quality, integrity and academic rigour of publications through transparent editorial processes, peer review conducted by specialised scholars and adherence to ethical principles and best editorial practices.
- To strengthen the visibility, accessibility and impact of scholarly and humanistic research through the adoption of national and international standards of editorial quality, digital preservation and academic interoperability.
- To support the development and consolidation of academic communities by promoting spaces for reflection, analysis and debate on issues relevant to the Humanities and Social Sciences.
- To contribute to the preservation and dissemination of intellectual and cultural heritage by encouraging the publication of research that advances the critical understanding of historical, cultural, linguistic, philosophical and literary processes.
- To promote the responsible use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools in research and scholarly communication, in accordance with the principles of transparency, academic ethics and research integrity.
- To support the internationalisation of research in the Humanities by encouraging collaboration among academic networks, research groups and scholarly communities from different regions of the world.
