Keywords:
Gogol, Reception, Russia, Early WorksAbstract
This article analyzes the early reception, in Russia, of the literary works by Nikolai Gogol: those he signed using a pseudonym, and the first two books he signed with his own name. In order to achieve this, it will be needed to reconstruct the horizon of expectations of that period by revising the critics and commentaries written by authors of the same time, which appeared on the press.Downloads
