Criticism of late-modern and neoliberal citizenship through Civic and Ethical Training.
Keywords:
Education, Civics, Ethics, SocietyAbstract
This text reflects on the subject of Civic and Ethical Training from the Mexican context, but
without ceasing to consider that economic globalization affects the local and national; that
is, educational policies respond to an internal and external order in unison. Likewise, a criticism is also made of the formation of citizenship that is intended through the subject,
since the ethical-political cannot be situated in the quasi-operational, since with this the
manifestation of freedom is canceled, it contains the possibility of changing the existing
material order. On the other hand, this writing adheres to the criticism regarding education
by competencies and the managerial or administrative manner of politics by the State in late
modernity.
