This article analyzes the representation of the serial killer in Mexican literature and its
connections with the global fabric. The three novels chosen in this article respond to the
necessity to place this subjectivity at the center of our cultural attention that seeks to
decipher its identity, its motivations, and its behavior. Furthermore, this research seeks to place the serial killer in the global context and characterize him as a subject that occupies a
very particular place our modern democracies.
