Facebook, it is possible to observe a series of dynamics of interaction, communication, and entertainment in which its users deploy a series of visual and/or linguistic resources to communicate, socialize, have fun, evaluate, criticize, reflect, among others. The aim is to analyze the expression “rugido de tripas” (gut roar), which is part of the display of creative phrases used by users of the social network Facebook. The objective of this article is to analyze, from the phraseology, the phrase “rugido de tripas” and the contexts in which it is used, and to describe its meaning from a cognitive perspective.
