The transgression of identity: alienation of subalterns.
Keywords:
Identity, Border, TransgressionAbstract
This article aims to carry out a narratological analysis of the story "Alienación" by the author Julio
Ramón Ribeyro, in which some elements of border literature are presented, such as: alienation,
identity and transgression. An interesting aspect of this story is that the protagonist, a subordinate, is
the one who decides to transgress his identity due to the sociocultural context in which he is
immersed and with this, he shows us the situation that Peru lived or is experiencing in the face of the phenomenon of migration. The author of this story himself experienced not having a "fixed
residence" and this fact was reflected in his work.
