The concept of non-disease.

In philosophy of medicine, the tendency to pathologize problems or normal aspects of daily life is known as “non-disease.” In this text I review the definition proposed by Smith (2002), its historical scope and its contemporary importance. At the end I propose a more complete definition of this process.
