Abstract

The present article addresses the representation of romantic love in the film Bones and all (Guadagnino, 2022) with the purpose of showing the way in which metaphor is used (Beristain, 1995) in audiovisual products to form a narrative. Through semiotic analysis based on the Reformulated Semantic Model (Eco, 2000), the semantic marks that make said representation possible are established. Likewise, the concept of desire and enjoyment is used from the perspective of Jacques Lacan as a common origin to the diversity of desires present in the film and the way in which they are manifested.
