Poetics of the instant in Farabeuf of Salvador Elizondo
Keywords:

The present study aims to elucidate the temporal proposal of Salvador Elizondo in his iconic work Farabeuf. Its driving axis, the instant, is not approached from its more abstract conceptualization, but from the poetic-visual representation that Elizondo conceived for this particular work. It is based, therefore, on the poetic making itself of the Mexican writer, while it rescues three capital concepts of the own author that allow to understand the form in which the instant is constructed throughout the work: ostraka, montage and texturization. At the same time, it tries to establish correspondences between the narrative proposal of Salvador Elizondo with the visual arts that most influenced his poetics of the instant: photography, painting and cinema.Downloads
