CHANGES IN 2026

2025-09-05

Dear contributors,

Sincronía Journal is currently undergoing a period of consolidation and growth. In this context, and in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), we need to update our editorial policies in order to incorporate new criteria for the acceptance of articles, which are as follows:

1.- Continuous publication.

Sincronía Journal will cease to be published biannually and will adopt a continuous publication model. This means that the times for receiving and disseminating articles will change: articles will no longer be concentrated at the beginning of each period, but will be published immediately upon successful completion of the editorial process.

Likewise, the two usual periods, January-June and July-December, will be maintained; the only change is the mechanism for receiving and publishing articles.

2.- Submission of contributions.

When submitting, only one version with the complete details of the author or co-authors (name, affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID) should be sent.

3.- Declaration of authorship and co-authorship.

Authors must submit the Declaration of Individual Authorship along with their manuscript. If there are co-authors, all without exception must download the Co-authorship Declaration (one for each co-author), complete it correctly, scan it, and attach it in PDF format to their article submission. In this document, they must detail precisely their participation in the preparation of the manuscript. The forms and further information are available in the Document Download Area.

4.- Declaration of use of artificial intelligence (AI)

Authors and co-authors must include a declaration of use of AI at the bottom of their article, taking into account the guidelines established in the section on Editorial Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence.

We remain at your disposal for any questions you may have in this regard.

Sincerely:
Sincronía Magazine
